I'm really concerned about this bruise on my face. A week ago, I fell and hit my cheekbone pretty hard. At first, it was just bruised there, but now the bruising has spread all around my eye, and my eyelids and part of my cheek are this purple-green color. The swelling has gone down quite a bit, but there's still some, and I have this lump on my cheekbone that just won't go away. Could it be a hematoma? What's the best way to take care of this bruise and lump?

Sorry to hear that!
Bruising and Swelling
- Normal progression: Bruising can spread and change colors as it heals.
- Swelling reduction: Significant reduction in swelling is a good sign.
Lump on Cheekbone
- Possible hematoma: A collection of blood that can cause a lump.
- Other possibilities: Fat necrosis, bone fracture, or soft tissue injury.
Care and Treatment
- Cold compresses: Continue applying cold compresses to reduce swelling.
- Elevation: Keep your head elevated to reduce swelling.
- Pain management: Use over-the-counter pain relievers like acetaminophen or ibuprofen.
- Monitor for infection: Watch for signs of infection, such as increased redness, warmth, or pus.
- Follow-up appointment: Schedule a follow-up appointment with your doctor to assess the lump and bruising.
When to Seek Immediate Medical Attention
- Increased swelling or pain
- Vision changes or double vision
- Difficulty moving your eye or face
- Signs of infection

View allI'm feeling this persistent heat on my face, and it's making my eyes feel really irritated and burning. I already saw a doctor, and he suggested I do some blood and urine tests. All my test results came back normal, so the doctor said there's nothing wrong and I shouldn't worry about it. But the thing is, I still feel this heat on my face. I'm not sure what's going on or what I should do next. Any advice?

I'm dealing with a skin infection, and my doctor prescribed me Cutisoft and Peroclin. I'm a bit confused because he didn't specify if I should be using Peroclin 2.5 or Peroclin 5. How can I find out which one to use?
To clarify the prescription, I recommend calling your doctor's office or sending a message to confirm whether the prescribed Peroclin is 2.5% or 5%; alternatively, you can also check the prescription label or packaging, if available, or schedule a follow-up appointment to ensure you're using the correct medication and dosage.
