I'm really confused about my pregnancy test results. I took a Prega News test and there was only one line, but I noticed that the HCG absorbent paper turned pink after about 3 minutes. My period is supposed to start on the 28th of this month. I even took the test yesterday and it came back negative. Does the pink color on the absorbent paper mean there's HCG hormone present?

I'm really confused right now since my period is 36 days late. I took a pregnancy test two weeks back and it came out negative, but I'm experiencing a bunch of pregnancy symptoms. I'm not sure what to do next. Should I be worried about something else going on? What steps should I take from here?
It's important to follow up with your healthcare provider for further evaluation. In the meantime, you can consider taking a different brand of pregnancy test or a blood test for a more accurate result. If pregnancy is ruled out and your period is still delayed, your doctor may recommend further investigations or prescribe medication such as Provera (medroxyprogesterone) to help induce a period.

Can a woman get pregnant after family planning operation?
It is still possible to become pregnant after undergoing the procedure, but tubal ligation is usually highly effective. The surgery involves cutting and tying off the fallopian tubes to prevent an egg from entering the uterus. Undergoing tubal ligation increases the risk of ectopic pregnancy.
