I'm really confused about something. Every time I drink alcohol or eat non-veg food, the area with my fungal infection gets super itchy and red. My doctor said alcohol isnt the cause, but I've heard from people that it might mean there's something wrong with my liver. Could that be true? What should I do about it?

I've been wondering if there's a link between masturbation, watching porn, and acne. Some stuff I read online says it's a myth, while others mention it could increase androgen levels, leading to acne. Could you clarify this for me? I'm really curious and a bit worried about whether this is something I should be concerned about.

_Understanding Combination Antibiotic Therapy for Nail Wound Infection_ Your doctor has prescribed a combination of Linid 600 (linezolid) and Clavmox 625 (amoxicillin-clavulanate) to treat the infection in your nail wound. Here's why: _Reasons for Combination Therapy:_ 1. _Broad-spectrum coverage_: By combining two antibiotics with different mechanisms of action, your doctor aims to cover a broader range of potential bacteria causing the infection. 2. _Increased efficacy_: Combination therapy can enhance the effectiveness of treatment, especially in cases where the infection is caused by multiple types of bacteria. 3. _Reduced resistance_: Using two antibiotics together can help reduce the development of antibiotic resistance, making treatment more successful. _Specific Antibiotic Choices:_ 1. _Linezolid (Linid 600)_*: Effective against Gram-positive bacteria, including MRSA (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus). 2. _Amoxicillin-clavulanate (Clavmox 625)_*: Effective against a wide range of bacteria, including Gram-positive, Gram-negative, and anaerobic bacteria. _Following Doctor's Advice:_ 1. _Complete the full course_: Take both antibiotics exactly as prescribed for the full duration of treatment, even if symptoms improve before completing the course. 2. _Monitor for side effects_: Inform your doctor if you experience any side effects, such as diarrhea, nausea, or allergic reactions. _Important Notes:_ 1. _Antibiotic stewardship_: Using antibiotics responsibly helps prevent antibiotic resistance and ensures effective treatment. 2. _Wound care*: Proper wound care, including keeping the wound clean and dry, is essential for promoting healing and preventing further infection.

I'm a bit concerned about a wound I treated with undiluted Dettol on cotton and left it plastered for about 10 hours. Now there's this black patch around the area. Is this something that will just go away on its own, or should I be worried about any side effects?

-The black patch around the wound could be due to irritation from the undiluted Dettol, which can sometimes cause skin discoloration. It should fade over time, but keep an eye on it. If it doesn't improve or if you notice increasing redness or swelling, c
