I'm really curious about treating these little bumps on my lips called Fordyce granules. I've heard that tretinoin gel 0.025 might help, but I'm not sure if it's effective for this. Are there better options I should consider? I'm just looking for something that actually works.

Tretinoin gel 0.025 can be beneficial in reducing Fordyce granules on the lips to some extent. Fordyce granules are small, yellowish or white bumps on the lips caused by the abnormal presence of sebaceous glands.
Benefits of Tretinoin Gel 0.025
- Exfoliates skin: Tretinoin helps remove dead skin cells, which can aid in reducing the appearance of Fordyce granules.
- Unclogs pores: Tretinoin can help unclog pores, reducing the size and visibility of Fordyce granules.
Alternative Treatments
If Tretinoin gel 0.025 is not effective or suitable for you, consider the following alternatives:
- Isotretinoin: A stronger retinoid that can be more effective in reducing Fordyce granules.
- Microdermabrasion: A non-invasive exfoliating treatment that can help reduce the appearance of Fordyce granules.
- Laser treatment: Ablative or non-ablative laser treatments can help reduce the size and visibility of Fordyce granules.
- Chemical peels: A solution is applied to the skin to remove the top layers and help reduce the appearance of Fordyce granules.

View allI'm allergic to Dettol and Savlon and whenever I use them on my skin, I get rashes and red spots. A few days ago, I had a skin prick allergy test and they cleaned my skin with something that probably had the same ingredient, so I've ended up with really itchy red rashes and spots on both my forearms. Do you think this could be causing a more severe reaction? How should I treat these rashes, and is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening again in the future?
This is quite rare.. But you are allergic to antiseptic solution itself.. So should avoid it.. Check if you are allergic to soap or not?? Some people are allergic to different things.. Whenever you go to hospital you must open up about this allergiec history......

I'm noticing some itching all over my body, and it's really intense, especially around my thighs and inner thighs. I'm also seeing some red bumps in those areas. What could be causing this, and should I be worried?
It sounds like you may be experiencing a case of fungal infection, such as jock itch. You can try using an over-the-counter antifungal cream like Lotrimin Ultra or Lamisil AT. Apply the cream to the affected areas twice a day for about 2 weeks. Make sure to keep the area clean and dry, and wear loose-fitting clothing to help with the itching and red bumps.

I'm just wondering about how long I should let my hands be idle after applying the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream and Propysalic NF6. Since I need to use them several times a day, I'd like to know so I can plan out my day better. Any advice on that?
Always wash your hands before and after applying the cream, especially if using it on areas that may touch your face or eyes. If you are applying Propysalic NF6 on specific areas of the body (e.g., hands, arms, or legs), its important to avoid contact with clothing or fabrics immediately after application, as it could transfer.
