I'm really struggling with acne and dark spots on my face. It's so frustrating, and I'm not sure what to do about it. I really want to reduce or maybe even completely get rid of them. Any advice on how I can have clear, problem-free skin?

My 3.5-year-old has been dealing with these itchy hives all over their body that are really irritating. It seems to happen everywhere. What could be causing this, and how can we help soothe the itching? Are there any common triggers we should be looking out for?

You are suffering from what Dermatologist call urticaria. Common causes are food allergy, infection or drugs taken for some condition. It presents with itching resulting in formation of red rashes which we call hives or wheals. Although in most cases cause remains unknown in spite of a thorough search. It can be treated with medicines so that you do not get any new hives. The treatment should be prolonged until it resolves which usually takes 1 to 6 months.

I'm a bit worried because I've noticed a hard, greenish-blue lump under the skin on my right hand. It's about 2mm in size, doesn't move, and isn't painful. Could you tell me what this might be? Should I be concerned about this?

Concerns about medication safety while breastfeeding are natural. _Zerodol P (Aceclofenac + Paracetamol) while breastfeeding:_ 1. _Caution advised_: Both aceclofenac and paracetamol are excreted in breast milk, but in small amounts. 2. _Short-term use might be okay_: If you need to take Zerodol P for a short period (e.g., 1-2 days), it's likely safe while breastfeeding. 3. _Consult your doctor_: However, it's essential to consult your doctor or a lactation consultant to discuss the risks and benefits. _Glemont (Montelukast) while breastfeeding:_ 1. _Generally considered safe_: Montelukast is excreted in breast milk, but in small amounts, and is generally considered safe while breastfeeding. 2. _Continue with caution_: If you've been taking Glemont and your doctor recommends continuing, you can likely safely do so while breastfeeding. _Breastfeeding precautions:_ 1. _Monitor your baby_: Watch for any changes in your baby's behavior, such as fussiness, sleepiness, or changes in feeding patterns. 2. _Consult a lactation consultant_: If you have concerns or questions, consult a lactation consultant for personalized guidance.

I'm looking for advice on the best minoxidil brand available in India. I've heard about brands like Regaine and Minoqilib. Are these any good, or do you suggest any other brands?

They are effective in promoting hair growth and treating hair loss. Another popular brand you can consider is Tugain. For best results, you can use Regaine 5% solution or Minoqilib 5% solution twice daily on the affected area of the scalp.
