I'm really worried about my 6-month-old son. It's been raining a lot, and he ended up with a cold. We didn't clean his ears properly, and we also kept a cap on him, which I think might have led to some pus in his ears. The pediatrician gave us Clavam Bid drops, and we're giving him 2.5 ml three times a day for a week. But now, on the second day of taking it, he's experiencing loose motions after drinking breast milk, and we're not feeding him any solids. What should we do?

My 1-month-old son has a bigger belly button that's about 2 cm in height. Also, his right testicle sometimes swells up to almost double the size of the left one. The doctor says it might go away on its own within a year or else he'll need surgery. I'm really worried do these issues usually resolve by themselves?
A 2 cm umbilical hernia in a newborn usually resolves by itself within the first year, but if it doesn’t, surgery may be required. The testicular swelling should be monitored, but often resolves without intervention.
