I'm really worried about my blood pressure. For the past two weeks, it's been extremely high, like in the Hypertensive Crisis range, reaching 190130 or 180120, even though I'm taking Telma CT 40. My test results, like the Echo, LFT, and KFT, are all normal. Why is my blood pressure still so high? What could be causing this?

It's concerning that your blood pressure remains high despite taking Telma CT 40. Since your test reports are normal, the high blood pressure may be due to uncontrolled hypertension or other underlying factors. In this situation, adding Amlodipine 5mg along with Telma CT 40 can help in better control of blood pressure. Additionally, lifestyle modifications such as reducing salt intake, regular exercise, and stress management can also play a crucial role in managing hypertension. Regular monitoring of blood pressure and follow-up with your healthcare provider is essential.

View allI'm Rao, 29, working in IT support in Chennai. I recently got an ECG report with some concerning results: Sinus Rhythm, Left Atrial Enlargement, RSR pattern in V1-V2, slight ST depression, and mild left axis deviation. Should I be worried about these findings? Can they be managed with mild medication or meditation, or is something more serious going on? Would really appreciate your insights.
based on the ECG report results you provided, it shows that you have Sinus Rhythm, Left Atrial Enlargement, RSR Pattern in V1V2, Slight ST Depression, and Mild Left Axis Deviation. For the Left Atrial Enlargement, you may consider taking medication such as Losartan 50mg once daily to help with the condition. For the Slight ST Depression, you can try medication like Aspirin 75mg once daily to manage it. For the Mild Left Axis Deviation, there is no specific medication needed, but regular monitoring by your healthcare provider is recommended. In addition to medication, incorporating meditation and stress-reducing techniques into your daily routine can also be beneficial for your overall heart health. It is important to follow up with your healthcare provider for further evaluation and management. Take care, and best regards.

I'm a bit confused about my recent ECG results. It mentions "Sinus Rhythm, low voltage QRS, and incomplete right bundle branch block." Could you help me understand what all this means? Should I be concerned about any of these findings? Would love your advice on what steps I should take next, if any.
Sinus rhythm on ECG indicates normal heart rhythm originating from the sinus node. Low voltage QRS complexes may suggest various conditions such as pericardial effusion, obesity, lung disease, or cardiomyopathy. Incomplete right bundle branch block is a conduction delay in the heart's electrical system. Clinically, these findings may indicate underlying heart conditions such as heart failure, myocardial infarction, or pulmonary embolism. Treatment may involve medications like Furosemide for heart failure, Metoprolol for arrhythmias, and monitoring for any changes in symptoms or ECG findings.

I'm a bit worried because my ECG showed a small variation, and now my doctor wants me to have an ECHO done. The thing is, I'm in a remote area, and getting to the city for the ECHO will take some effort. Do you think it's okay if I wait and get the ECHO done in about 10 days, or should I try to do it sooner?
If your doctor has recommended an ECHO after observing a small variation in your ECG, it is important to follow up with the ECHO test as advised. However, if you are in a remote location and unable to travel to the city for the ECHO immediately, it should be okay to schedule the ECHO after 10 days. Make sure to keep in touch with your doctor regarding any changes in your symptoms during this period.
