I'm really worried about my dad. We've been feeding him using a Ryles tube, but since yesterday, he's been getting these really strong hiccups not long after we feed him. Is this something we should be worried about or is it normal? What can we do to help him?

I've been dealing with this really weird problem where my breath smells like rotten eggs or sulfur and I just can't figure out why. I brush my teeth three times a dayafter I wake up, after lunch, and before bed. I also floss regularly and use nonalcoholic mouthwash. I used to have tonsil stones and thought that might be the reason, but even after getting my tonsils removed, the smell hasn't gone away. It's like the smell is coming from the top of my mouth or maybe even from my stomach. My diet is pretty normal, and I'm maintaining a healthy weight at 6'2'' and 180 lbs. Plus, I'm pretty active since I'm always on my feet at work. What do you think could be causing this?

It could be related to gastrointestinal issues. I recommend trying a medication like omeprazole (Prilosec) 20mg once daily before breakfast to reduce stomach acid production, which can sometimes contribute to bad breath. Additionally, you can try using simethicone (Gas-X) 125mg after meals to help reduce gas in the stomach, which can also cause bad breath. Make sure to follow the recommended dosages for these medications. If the issue persists, consider consulting with a gastroenterologist for further evaluation and management.

I've been having really bad acidity, and it turned into cramps and watery diarrhea last night. It even happened twice at night, and now today, it's just been non-stop diarrhea and a constant headache. I'm kind of worried about what's going on. Any idea what might be causing this and what I should do?

I've been experiencing this strange fluttering, pulsating, vibrating feeling under my left rib. There's no pain, and I don't think it's connected to my heart because I've checked my pulse at the same time as the sensation. Could you shed some light on what this might be?

once get your ECG done as a screening for cardiac issues,if it turns out to be normal, General physician consultation would help you.
