I'm really worried about my dad's eye condition. He went to the hospital by himself, and he's saying he needs to use atropine in the morning and at night, one drop each time, and moxifloxacin every hour. That sounds right according to the doctor's instructions, but I'm confused because as per the prescription, he's also supposed to use itraconazole and natamycin every hour. My dad is telling me the doctor advised him to start those only after finishing atropine and moxifloxacin. I'm 600 km away and it's stressing me out not being there to help. Can you help me make sense of what should be done first?

View allI've been dealing with keratoconus in both my eyes, and it's been about 2.5 months since I had the C3R and Intacs procedures. I'm still experiencing a lot of light sensitivity. Is that normal, and how long might it take for the sensitivity to improve?

I've recently moved to Kolkata, and was prescribed GenTeal gel when I was at AIIMS Delhi. I'm not quite sure how to apply it now that I'm here. Could you guide me on the proper way to use it?

I'm curious about getting rid of my spectacles, as my eye power is 2.25 in both eyes. Do I need any special treatment or surgery to address this? I'd love some guidance on what my options might be.
For your myopia of -2.25 in both eyes, you may consider undergoing a refractive surgery called LASIK (Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis). This procedure can help correct your vision and reduce your dependence on glasses or contact lenses. It is important to consult with an ophthalmologist to determine if you are a suitable candidate for LASIK. The typical dosage for this surgery is one session per eye, with post-operative care instructions provided by your doctor.
