I'm really worried about my ear. A couple of days ago, while using a q-tip, the bud came off in my right ear. I'm 13 and after trying to flush it out with water, it didnt work and wasn't too painful, but after a visit to the local clinic, the doctor couldnt remove it because the pain was too much. We tried flushing it again but my ear started to bleed. Now I'm barely hearing from my right ear and it's getting worse. What should I do?

It sounds like you may have some irritation or injury in your right ear from the q-tip incident. To help with the pain and potential infection, you can use antibiotic ear drops like Neomycin-Polymyxin B-Hydrocortisone drops. It's important to keep the ear dry and avoid inserting anything into it. If the pain and bleeding persist, you should follow up with an Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist for further evaluation and treatment.

View allI was laughing at a joke and inhaled quickly, and the chewing gum I was eating accidentally went down my throat. I'm not entirely sure if it went through my food pipe, but now I have a cloggy sensation in my throat, maybe because I coughed a lot trying to clear it. Im worried it might be stuck in my windpipe or somewhere near my throat bone. I don't have any breathing issues, cough, or fever, but the feeling is unsettling. Is it possible the gum got stuck in my windpipe, or could there be another reason for this sensation?
Its unlikely that the chewing gum went into your lungs, especially since you're not experiencing breathing problems or a cough. The sensation in your throat is likely due to irritation from coughing or mucus, not the gum being stuck in your windpipe. If the discomfort persists, its always a good idea to check with a doctor for peace of mind.

I'm a bit concerned about drinking alcohol while I'm taking Montek LC. My doctor prescribed it to me, and I'm not sure if there might be any side effects or interactions. Can you tell me if it's safe or if I should avoid drinking?
ideally there is no such interaction between them but as both will cause sedation, better not to consume alchohol when you are sick.

I've been having this weird pain in my throat whenever I drink water, but interestingly, it doesn't hurt when I eat. Sometimes, there's a slight discomfort when I swallow saliva. I'm just wondering what could be causing this. Any ideas?
That could be mucosal congestion no need to worry take warm foods and stay hydrated,if its becoming worse visit ENT docotor for evaluation and appropriate management.
