I'm really worried about my heart valve issue and need to understand more about the surgery options. Can you explain how serious this is and what the treatment involves? Also, who are the best doctors in Ahmedabad for valve problems?

Heart valve issues, if left untreated, can be serious and even life-threatening. Treatment options include medication, minimally invasive procedures, and surgery, with the specific approach depending on the severity and type of valve problem. In Ahmedabad, for heart valve problems, consult with a cardiologist and consider hospitals with a strong cardiac surgery program.

View allI'm feeling a bit worried because all my tests like ECG, echocardiography, TMT, and CT coronary angiogram came back normal, but I'm still having symptoms every day. Could it be microvascular angina or maybe spasms in my arteries, or is it something else entirely?
Based on your normal test results and everyday symptoms, it is possible that you may be experiencing microvascular angina or spasms in the arteries. In such cases, medications like Nitroglycerin sublingual tablets can be helpful in relieving symptoms. The usual dosage is 0.3 to 0.6 mg sublingually as needed. Additionally, medications like Calcium channel blockers such as Amlodipine can also be prescribed to help with vasospasms. The typical dosage for Amlodipine is 5 to 10 mg once daily. It is important to follow up with your healthcare provider for further evaluation and management.

I recently quit smoking after experiencing persistent chest pain that lasted for a month, though it eventually disappeared after some rest. Now, I'm feeling these sudden sharp pains in my chest that vanish as quickly as they come. I work more than 10 hours a day while sitting. Should I be concerned about these new pains?

I'm really worried because lately Ive been experiencing this weird heart fluttering sensation. Its been happening for the last 15 days whenever Im asleep. I suddenly wake up feeling unconscious, and its like I cant even express what Im going through. For a moment, I seriously feel like Im dying, but then after a few seconds, I feel okay again. It happened again last week and then today during the day when I napped. Its super scary and I dont understand whats going on or why this is happening when Im sleeping. Can you please help me figure out what this might be?
Hii, it sounds like you are experiencing episodes of heart palpitations or fluttering. This can be a concerning symptom and it's important to get evaluated by a healthcare professional. In the meantime, you can try taking a beta-blocker medication like Metoprolol (25-50mg) to help control your heart rate and reduce palpitations. It is important to follow up with a doctor for further evaluation and management of your symptoms.
