I'm really worried about my wife's finger. A few months back, she got this tiny hole on the tip, and it hurt to touch, with a small circular thing forming there. The doctor told us to use a corn cap for a week, and that took away the pain and some side skin, but that circle's still hanging around with a tiny dot, just like it was several months ago. We don't see anything stuck in there, so were confused about whether to try the corn cap again or should we consider getting it removed surgically. Could you give some advice on what might be best to do?
