I'm really worried about my mom's oxygen levels. It's been a while since she was discharged after having COVID and bilateral pneumonia. She's been on quite a few medications, including the steroids Medrol and dexamethasone, as prescribed, and others like Perfenix and Cardace protect. The thing is, her oxygen saturation stays around 88-92% when she's resting, which I think is okay. But whenever she gets up to walk or just goes to the washroom, it drops to 75% and then slowly comes back up to about 90%. With the recent reports showing her CRP at 21 and ESR at 37, I'm anxious to know when her oxygen levels might stabilize and stay up, even when she's more active. Could you help me understand why this happens and what we might expect moving forward?

I've been dealing with chronic hypersensitivity pneumonitis, and lately, I've noticed some changes. My oxygen level sticks around 96-98, which is pretty normal for me, but a month ago, I got hit with COVID. During that time, I was mostly coughing with phlegm and felt really tired, but not much else. Now that I've recovered from COVID, I'm still feeling really worn out. I'm having a dry cough about 6-7 times a day, which never happened to me before, and my chest hurts a bit when I yawn. Plus, I've started feeling a bit of difficulty in breathing that lasts for 3-5 seconds. I used to be perfectly fine before all this. Any idea what's going on?

I'm really worried about this pleural empyema situation. If there's a 100ml buildup, do antibiotics alone help clear it up, or would it definitely need to be drained? I've heard different things and I'm not sure what to expect.
