I've been dealing with this chronic cough for 12 years now, and it's really frustrating, especially because it lasts for about 3 to 4 months each year and gets pretty severe. I constantly get this diagnosis of bronchitis, CVA, or allergies, but all my test results are clear. The usual meds dont seem to do the trick, and I usually end up on steroids. One time, a doctor suggested Gabapentin NT 400 at night, but it didnt help at all. Interestingly, Ive noticed my cough eases a bit if I'm getting a head massage or if Im distracted, and it completely stops when I'm asleep.

I read somewhere that Gabapentin might be good for chronic cough, so I started taking 300 mg three times a day, and it seems like there's about 40-50% relief. Do you think its okay to bump it up to 600 mg three times a day? I've read studies that say up to 1800 mg is well tolerated and helps with chronic cough, but I'd love a second opinion. What would you suggest?

I'm really worried about my dad. About 70 days ago, he had corona and needed oxygen therapy at home because his saturation levels were low. For the past 13 days, he hasn't needed oxygen support, and his spo2 levels have mostly been between 94-97. But sometimes when we check, it shows below 90, though it usually goes back to normal above 94 within a few minutes. We're thinking about returning the oxygen cylinder, but I'm concerned. Is there a chance his levels could drop again, and should I be worried about it?

I'm dealing with a cold and running nose issue since I was a kid, and I found out I have asthma in 2016. I've been using that Budamate inhaler twice a day along with Arzep and Metatop nasal sprays. Originally, I used the sprays every day, twice a day, but now I only use them when my cold flares up. So here are my questions: sometimes I get a runny nose right when I wake up. Is it okay to use the Arzep and Metatop nasal sprays on an empty stomach? And can I use the inhaler on an empty stomach too? Another thing, I've been controlling my cold with Arzep, but are there any long-term effects if I keep using these nasal sprays regularly? I'm kinda worried about any side effects.
