I'm really worried because the fever is stuck at 102-103 Fahrenheit since this morning. We went to the hospital, and the general physician prescribed antibiotics and DOLO, but the fever just won't go down. Do you think he might need a different diagnosis?

My 4.5-year-old daughter has adenoid issues and is currently on medication. I'm really worried about surgery are there any effective non-surgical treatments we can try? Her symptoms are bothering her, and I'd love to explore other options before considering surgery. What would you recommend?
Adenoidectomy is a safe procedure in the pediatric population and leads to excellent outcomes. Adverse events are rare, and hospitalization is uncommon. Children with sleep disturbance from nasal airway obstruction, ear disease, or chronic rhinosinusitis are the best operative candidates for this procedure.
