I'm really worried because he's developed a skin allergy and I've attached some pictures. He's been taking cetirizene for the past couple of days. What kind of skin condition could this possibly be? Is it safe for him to keep taking the medication for another two days until he can see a doctor?

Based on your description, the skin condition could be:

  1. Urticaria (hives)
  2. Eczema (atopic dermatitis)
  3. Contact dermatitis
  4. Allergic reaction

Cetirizine Tablet Usage

Cetirizine is an antihistamine that can help alleviate symptoms of allergies. If the person has already been taking cetirizine for 2 days, they can likely continue taking it for 2 more days until consulting a doctor.

So, I've been dealing with melanin depigmentation and tried out this Pigmanorm cream that's got hydroquinone 4, hydrocortisone 1, and tretinoin 0.1. I applied it for three days, and now my face is all red in those spots. I stopped using the cream, but I'm kind of freaking out about whether this redness will go away on its own. Right now, I'm using Bioderma Sensibio Forte cream because I heard it's good for flushed skin. Do you think the redness will just fade away, or is it something that's going to stick around for a while? Also, I'm putting on Eveline sunscreen SPF 50 three times a day. Could you check out the pics and tell me what you think?

I've been using Neutrogena sunscreen for quite some time, but after running out and not using it for about a week, I noticed it started causing breakouts when I applied it again. I have acne-prone and combination skin, so I'm really concerned. What sunscreen would work best for me?

It is important to choose a sunscreen that is non-comedogenic and oil-free to prevent further breakouts. I recommend trying "La Roche-Posay Anthelios Clear Skin Dry Touch Sunscreen SPF 60". Apply a generous amount to your face and neck 15 minutes before sun exposure, and reapply every 2 hours or immediately after swimming or sweating. This sunscreen is specifically designed for acne-prone skin and provides high protection against both UVA and UVB rays.

I've been using elocon cream for a couple of months just on my chin, and now out of nowhere, I've got like 100 pimples all over my chin and jawline, and it's spreading across my lower face. I gave retin a a shot, but it actually made the acne worse. I also tried some antibiotic pills, but they didn't help. Now, I'm using fusidin cream 2 antibiotics, still no luck. It's been over 10 days and things aren't getting better. I just started using acutret, hoping it'll help. Could this breakout be a side effect of the elocon cream? If so, how long might it last, and what can I do to improve the situation?

Elocon cream (mometasone) can cause skin issues like acne, especially with prolonged use. This reaction might be a rebound effect or steroid-induced acne. Considering you've already tried various treatments, it's essential to consult a dermatologist for personalized guidance. They may recommend alternative treatments or adjust your current regimen. In the meantime, consider the following: 1. Stop using Elocon cream. 2. Continue Acutret (isotretinoin) as directed by your dermatologist. 3. Maintain good skincare hygiene and use non-comedogenic products.
