I'm really worried because I had a Covid test on June 1st, and I've been having this dry cough ever since. It's been a few days now without a fever, but the cough just won't go away. I tried taking Macbery XT cough syrup, but it hasnt helped at all. Also, sometimes I feel like there's some congestion when I breathe. What should I do about this?

My friend has been dealing with this annoying barking cough for a while now. She's already on cough syrup and doing saltwater gargles, but nothing seems to help.
