I'm really worried because I've been dealing with ILD for the past two years. It's made breathing really tough and I've got this persistent cough that won't go away. I'm currently taking Mucinac and Pirfenex tabs. Could you help me understand if there's anything else I should be doing or taking to manage these symptoms better?

I've got this question about a recent visit to a male doctor for my cough. He began the exam by touching above my left breast with the stethoscope, then moved beneath it, right on the breast, not where the lungs are. He repeated the same steps on my right breast. This kind of threw me off. Is that a standard part of examining a cough? I'm hesitant to accuse anyone without knowing if that was necessary, so I'd appreciate some clarity on this.

Hey, my mom's 45 and she's had TB twice, in 2013 and 2014. She followed the anti-TB schedule, but her coughing just won't stop, and she gets colds super easily. She's been feeling pretty unwell, especially after bleeding episodes, which have happened four times. Sometimes it's a lot of blood, other times, just a bit. We got an X-ray done and visited a doctor who said there's nothing to worry about, but I'm still really concerned. The doctor prescribed some pneumonia meds, but I'm anxious to know how long it'll take for her to fully recover. Any advice or insights would be a big help.
Usually it takes around 6-9 months for a tb patient to recover.Rest continue all the medications as advised by the physician.
