I'm really worried because last night my pulse rate was 130 after dinner, and I ended up taking Metocard XL 25 before heading to the hospital. They did an ECG and just sent me back home. But today, I've been feeling the same way. What should I do? Any suggestions?

It seems like you are experiencing a high pulse rate. Metocard XL 25 is a brand name for Metoprolol, which is a beta-blocker medication. In this case, you can continue taking Metocard XL 25 as prescribed by your doctor. Additionally, you may also consider lifestyle modifications such as reducing stress, avoiding caffeine, and getting regular exercise. If your symptoms persist or worsen, it is important to follow up with your healthcare provider for further evaluation and management.

I'm really confused and a bit worried. I've had all my tests like Blood Cs, Blood test, Urine test, sugar, and ECG done, and everything came back normal. But since June 6th, I've had this weird cold sensation in my hands and feet. I almost fainted after the gym, and now I'm constantly experiencing shortness of breath, feeling weak, sleepy, and hungry all the time. Even a quick walk or a swim makes me really feel my heart. What could be going on with me?

I'm a bit worried about my blood pressure levels. Do you think it's at a point where I should see a doctor, or are there steps I can take on my own to bring it down? I've also been having some issues with drinking. Would that be affecting my BP too?

I'm really worried because my wife's blood pressure was already high at 160100, and she's just started taking Metosartan 50 mg this morning. But now her blood pressure has spiked even higher to 180113. Plus, she's got a headache and chest congestion. Could you help me understand why her BP might be going up despite the medication?

It is possible that her body is still adjusting to the new medication. However, these symptoms could also be indicative of a hypertensive crisis. I recommend seeking immediate medical attention to address her elevated blood pressure. Additionally, it is important to monitor her symptoms closely and follow up with her healthcare provider for further evaluation and management.
