I'm really concerned about keeping things that come into my home virus-free. I've got an alcohol-based sanitizer and I'm thinking about diluting it with water to spray on groceries and packages. Do you think this would actually work to kill any virus on those items? And if so, what would be the ideal ratio of sanitizer to water?
Avoid diluting alcohol-based sanitizers with water, as this will reduce their effectiveness. Instead, use appropriate cleaning products designed for disinfecting surfaces or a diluted bleach solution to kill viruses on objects coming into your home.
