I'm really worried right now. My child has a tummy worm and it's biting her constantly. It's 2 in the morning, and she's crying so much. I don't know what to do at home to help her. Any advice?

My 1-month-old son has a bigger belly button that's about 2 cm in height. Also, his right testicle sometimes swells up to almost double the size of the left one. The doctor says it might go away on its own within a year or else he'll need surgery. I'm really worried do these issues usually resolve by themselves?
A 2 cm umbilical hernia in a newborn usually resolves by itself within the first year, but if it doesn’t, surgery may be required. The testicular swelling should be monitored, but often resolves without intervention.
