View allI accidentally got pricked by an iron object today, and there was some bleeding. I had a tetanus shot back on May 20, 2017. It's been just about four months since then. I'm wondering if I should get another tetanus shot today.
Ideally tatanus toxoid is to be taken within 6 hours of exposure. And once taken, it need not be taken against for 5 years. Since yours is just 4 months, you need not repeat the shot. Just take proper care of the wound.
