I'm scheduled for ACL reconstruction surgery after May 11th but my period is due around May 16th and might come 23 days early could this affect the surgery or the medications I'll be given? Just worried about any complications

View allI've been diagnosed with grade 4 chondromalacia and a partial ACL tear can this be fully fixed with surgery or will physiotherapy be enough to recover properly
With both Grade 4 chondromalacia and a partial ACL tear, a combination of physiotherapy and potentially surgery may be needed for optimal recovery, depending on the severity of your symptoms and activity level. While physiotherapy can be effective for both conditions, surgery may be required for a full recovery, particularly if you have a high-demand lifestyle or experience significant instability

My MRI showed ligament damage but I'm not sure if surgery is the only option. Are there other treatments I could try first or is surgery really necessary in my case? I'm a bit worried about going under the knife if there are alternatives that might work.
