I'm a sports person and a bodybuilder, and I've been dealing with puffy nipples for the past couple of years. It's making me really self-conscious, especially when wearing t-shirts. I'm worried it might be gynecomastia. I'm curious about what treatments are available. Are there any medications to help reduce this in men, or would surgery be necessary? Also, if surgery is needed, what might the cost be? I'm really hoping for some guidance here.

I'm a 27-year-old guy dealing with gynecomastia and I weigh around 73 kg. I'm planning to get married soon and really want to get my body in better shape. After researching online for a while, it looks like surgery is the only option to get rid of gynecomastia. I've got a bit of a tummy too, and it's kind of at the same level as my chest right now. What I'm curious about is, after the surgery, will my tummy stick out more than my chest?

Gynecomastia vanishes without treatment in less than two years. But in some patients treatment may be needed if gynecomastia doesn't improve on its own or if it causes significant pain and embarrassment...avoid junk foods, carbohydrates like rice etc, avoid oily foods...add proteins and fibre rich foods to your diet with green tea, green leafy vegetables, fruits...do regular exercise at least 2 hours a day....Medications used to treat breast cancer and other conditions, such as tamoxifen and raloxifene may be helpful for some men with gynecomastia....if no improvements to medications you can go for surgery....Two gynecomastia surgery options are: Liposuction. This surgery removes breast fat, but not the breast gland tissue itself. Mastectomy. This type of surgery removes the breast gland tissue. The surgery is often done endoscopically, meaning only small incisions are used. This less invasive type of surgery involves less recovery time...consult nearest surgeon they will do the needful.

I'm looking for advice on gynecomastia surgery options and costs. Can you help me find a good specialist near my area? Also, what should I expect in terms of recovery and results from the procedure?

Gynecomastia surgery is safe and effective; recovery takes 4–6 weeks—consult a local plastic surgeon for cost and details.

I've struggled with deep acne scars on my cheeks for years and nothing has worked not even fractional CO2 laser treatments. Would plastic surgery be an option to restore my cheeks? I'm really desperate at this point and just want to know if there's any hope for improvement.

Yes, plastic surgery can be an option for improving the appearance of deep acne scars, especially after other treatments like fractional CO2 laser treatments have not yielded satisfactory results. While scars cannot be completely removed, plastic surgery techniques can significantly improve their appearance by resurfacing or grafting tissue.
