I've just recently noticed these vertical light pink lines on the nail plate of my middle finger on the left handabout 1mm wide. When I look closely, they seem to be on all my nails. If I press down on them, the lines disappear. Is this something normal, or could it be serious since I've never noticed it before? I'm worried it might be melanoma based on what I've read online. The growing white part of the nails seems shaded because of these lines, and as they grow, they stay the same shaded color.
