I'm thinking about taking Doxycycline and lactic acid bacillus capsules like DoxtSL every day for my pimples. Is this safe? Also, should I be worried about any side effects?

Yes, it is okay to consume Doxycycline and lactic acid bacillus capsules (Doxt-SL) for pimples. However, it is important to take them as prescribed by your doctor. Common side effects of Doxt-SL may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain.

I'm a guy dealing with a yeast-like smell from my groin for a few months now. I've tried jock itch cream, but it's just not working. I shower twice daily and keep clean, but this odor is persistent. What could be causing this, and how can I get rid of it?

I recommend using an antifungal medication such as Clotrimazole cream twice a day for at least 2 weeks. Additionally, you can take Fluconazole tablets once a day for 7-14 days to help treat the infection from the inside. Make sure to keep the area clean and dry, wear loose-fitting clothing, and avoid sugary foods that can worsen yeast infections. If the symptoms persist, consult a healthcare provider for further evaluation.

I'm trying to figure out which Vitamin C would be best for me to use on my melasma. I want something that can be applied topically or taken orally before using sunscreen. I've heard it might help protect against sun damage, but I'm a bit lost on which kind might work best. Can you offer some advice?

I've just recently noticed these vertical light pink lines on the nail plate of my middle finger on the left handabout 1mm wide. When I look closely, they seem to be on all my nails. If I press down on them, the lines disappear. Is this something normal, or could it be serious since I've never noticed it before? I'm worried it might be melanoma based on what I've read online. The growing white part of the nails seems shaded because of these lines, and as they grow, they stay the same shaded color. I tried cutting the nail a bit deeper and noticed the band isn't on the skin, just the nail plate. Do you have any idea what this could be? Is it an infection or something I should be concerned about? I did a full medical check-up about five months ago, and everything came back normal.
