i'm trying to decide between contoura vision and smile surgery but i'm confused about the side effects and why contoura is considered better even though it's cheaper than smile can you explain which one would be the better option overall

Contoura offers better customization for corneal irregularities; SMILE has less dry eye and no flap. Choose based on your corneal thickness and lifestyle. Consult a refractive surgeon for suitability.

View allI'm getting LASIK surgery at AIIMS Delhi in July for astigmatism, but I'm worried about human error in the prescription. Since refraction tests are subjective, how do surgeons make sure they program the machine exactly right? What if my astigmatism axis or power is slightly off on surgery day? Do they recheck my eye power right before the procedure to avoid mistakes?

My granny had cataract surgery on 24 Feb 2017 and ever since then she's been having pain in her eyes and forehead. The pain comes and goes it's not too severe but it's persistent. How long will this last and when can we expect the pain to go away completely?
It's understandable that you're concerned about your granny's persistent pain after cataract surgery. While it's common to experience some discomfort after surgery, it's unusual for it to last for seven years. It's crucial to have your granny's eye doctor re-evaluate her condition and determine the cause of the pain.
