I'm trying to figure out how to gradually stop using Melacare cream because I'm experiencing some side effects like dry skin and facial hair growth. I'm also looking for a recommendation on a different fairness cream that won't cause these issues. Can you help me out with this?

To stop using Melacare cream without losing fairness:
Tapering Off Melacare Cream
- Gradual reduction: Reduce the frequency of application over 2-4 weeks (e.g., from daily to every other day, then to twice a week).
- Dilute the cream: Mix Melacare cream with a moisturizer (1:1 ratio) to reduce its potency.
- Replace with a moisturizer: Once you've tapered off Melacare, switch to a gentle, non-comedogenic moisturizer.
Alternative Fairness Creams
- Kojic acid-based creams: Kojivit, Kojic acid cream, or La Roche-Posay Mela-D Pigment Control.
- Niacinamide-based creams: Olay Regenerist, Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair, or Paula's Choice 10% Niacinamide Booster.
- Vitamin C-based creams: Olay Vitamin C, Neutrogena Vitamin C, or Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare C+ Collagen Brighten and Firm Serum.
Addressing Side Effects
- Dry skin: Use a gentle, hydrating moisturizer.
- Facial hair growth: Consider waxing, threading, or consulting a dermatologist for hair reduction treatments.
Consult a dermatologist before starting any new skincare products to ensure they suit your skin type and concerns.

I'm really worried about my face after a chemical peel with cosmoderma 50. I've ended up with burns on both cheeks, and now I've got these brown patches and pinkish flesh showing. What should I do? Is this normal, and how can I help my skin heal?
Avoid using that cream and consult if symptoms persists

I've got some boils on my thighs and I've been taking amox capsules for them. Is that the right way to go about it, or should I be doing something else? What's the best way to treat these boils?
Taking Amox capsules for boils on your thighs may be incorrect without a proper diagnosis, as boils are typically caused by bacterial infections like Staphylococcus aureus, and Amox capsules are usually prescribed for specific bacterial infections; instead, try applying warm compresses to the affected area, keeping it clean with antibacterial soap, and seeking medical attention if the boil becomes severely painful, large, or accompanied by fever or pus.
