I'm trying to understand my echo report. It says all chamber sizes are normal, there's no regurgitation, and valve morphology is normal, with normal LV function. But it doesn't mention anything about pulmonary artery pressure. Does this mean my pulmonary pressure is normal? I'm a bit confused and would love some clarity on this.

I'm really concerned about my sister's ultrasound report. It shows she has dilated cardiomyopathy and severe left ventricular systolic dysfunction with an EF of 33. She's also got severe pulmonary artery hypertension and an RVSP of 78 mmHg. The doctor mentioned there's no surgery option. As her ejection fraction is low she is not fit for surgery and needs to be on medications and absolute bed rest untill EF improves,follow your doctors advice

I had a heart attack from smoking back in March 2017 and found out my left main artery was 100% blocked. I'm on meds like Roustor, GoldPlanep, and Skelexon now. Is it possible for medication to completely reverse the blockage? How can I find out if it's really reversed?

I'm struggling with high cholesterol levels and I'm trying to figure out what to do. My total cholesterol is sitting at 221, with an LDL of 146, HDL is 36, and VLDL is 39. Plus, my triglycerides are at 280. I also smoke, but I've been cutting back bit by bit. Do I need to start taking statins because of this? And if I do start them, is it possible to stop once my cholesterol levels go down?

Yes you have to start statins and quit smoking completely,maintain healthy lifestyle and stay physically active,use statins for a period of 3 months and check your lipid profile for followup
