I'm using this cream called Lulican and I've been at it for about a week now. My skin is starting to peel, and while the itching has gone down a bit, the redness and marks haven't improved at all. Is this cream supposed to be doing this? Did I get the right diagnosis?

Understanding Lulican (Luliconazole 1% Cream) and Its Uses
- Lulican is typically prescribed for fungal skin infections. It works by reducing fungal growth and alleviating symptoms like itching and redness.
-
Possible Side Effects of Lulican Cream
- Common side effects include mild skin irritation, redness, or peeling. Persistent peeling and redness may indicate an adverse reaction.
-
Interpreting Your Symptoms
- Reduction in itching is a positive sign. However, persistent redness and peeling could suggest irritation, an allergic reaction, or an incorrect diagnosis.
-
Importance of Correct Diagnosis
- Fungal infections are diagnosed through clinical examination and sometimes lab tests. Persistent symptoms despite treatment may require reassessment.
-
Recommended Next Steps
- Stop using the cream if irritation worsens and consult a dermatologist promptly. Consider alternative treatments or further investigations.

Plus, if I stop taking it, will the hair that's grown just fall out again? Could you please let me know if there are any long-term risks or if there's an alternative treatment?

I've noticed that my lips, especially the upper one, are quite pigmented. I'm wondering if a laser treatment would be a good option for me. Also, do you have any idea about how much it might cost?

I have multiple lipomas in different parts of my body and I'm wondering if there's any way to treat them without surgery
There’s no proven non-surgical treatment to eliminate lipomas. Surgery is the only definitive removal, though small lipomas can be monitored if asymptomatic.
