I'm wondering if having a UTI can lead to an increase in my ESR levels. How much does ESR usually go up in a UTI? Also, what's the purpose of measuring ESR? Should I be more concerned about my ESR or CRP levels? Does CRP get elevated with a UTI too? I'm just trying to understand what's going on with these tests.

View allI've been feeling this pain on the left side of my rib, kind of towards the end of one rib. It's been there for a few weeks now. It doesn't bother me when I'm breathing, but I notice it more when I touch it or if I'm moving around a lot at work. Should I be worried about this? What could it be?
