I'm worried about my vision after cataract surgery. Is there any possibility that my vision could decrease after the procedure? Also, is there anything else that can be done to improve vision, or are there any long-term side effects I should be aware of?

I'm curious about getting rid of my spectacles, as my eye power is 2.25 in both eyes. Do I need any special treatment or surgery to address this? I'd love some guidance on what my options might be.
For your myopia of -2.25 in both eyes, you may consider undergoing a refractive surgery called LASIK (Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis). This procedure can help correct your vision and reduce your dependence on glasses or contact lenses. It is important to consult with an ophthalmologist to determine if you are a suitable candidate for LASIK. The typical dosage for this surgery is one session per eye, with post-operative care instructions provided by your doctor.
