It has been 33 days since my last period, and I am taking medication for thyroid and depression. I have noticed that my breasts have become very soft from the tip of the areola upwards, without any soreness. I am also experiencing tightness and discomfort in the lower abdomen, and my vaginal opening feels sticky, with egg white like discharge instead of menstrual bleeding. I am concerned and would like to know what could be causing these changes and what steps I should take next.

A delayed period (33 days) with clear discharge and lower belly tightness may be due to hormonal imbalance, thyroid issues, or early pregnancy. Soft breasts without soreness are not uncommon. Since you are on thyroid and depression medication, these can also affect cycles. It is best to do a Urine Pregnancy Test to rule out pregnancy. If negative, monitor for a week. If periods dont start or symptoms worsen, do a Thyroid Profile and Pelvic Ultrasound to check hormone balance and uterus health.

Take a UPT Test (Urine Pregnancy) Test or Take a Thyroid Profile (T3 T4 TSH) Test Test

View allHi doctor, we have been married for seven years. We do not have children. After two years, this month my period is delayed by 36 days. I took a home pregnancy test today and it shows negative. I am suffering from severe back pain and hip pain. Is there any possibility of pregnancy? I am having slight pain like menstrual pain.

Today is my second day of missed period and I got a positive urine pregnancy test with a clear test line. Is it 100 percent confirmed or should I take some other test?

I had unprotected intercourse on 17th November, which was my last day of fertile window, and after 7 hours I took an i pill. My period was due on 25th November but I did not get my period and I got some discharge mixed with brown blood on 26th and 27th November. I am feeling menstrual symptoms but not getting my period. I have done a urine pregnancy test and it was negative. Is this a side effect of the i pill?
