Is it normal to feel the same pain I had before my thoracentesis, even though it's been 36 hours since it was done? I'm worried the pleural fluid might have come back. Could tuberculosis be causing this effusion? The pain is really bothering me, and I'm waiting on my report, which won't be ready until next week. Can you give me some advice in the meantime?

View allI'm Chethan and I usually smoke about 2 cigarettes a day. I recently had a bout of cough, so I stopped smoking about 15 days ago, but I'm still dealing with a lot of coughing and some throat pain. I'm just really worried and wondering why it hasn't eased up yet. Could you tell me what's going on or what I should do next?

I'm having this really bad pain on the right side of my chest whenever I breathe in or try to lie down. Its super painful every time I move, but weirdly, it goes away once I stop moving. Do you think this is something I should be worried about? What could be causing this kind of pain?

I'm really worried about my dad who's 73. He was diagnosed with COVID-19 on June 14th and had a mild fever, but that went away after taking paracetamol. Now he's started coughing since yesterday and while we're giving him Reswas syrup, it hasn't completely stopped. His D-dimer is 0.87 and CRP 9.6. Should we be concerned about these numbers? Is there anything else we should be doing or any other meds he might need?
continue the treatment add dextromethrophen syrup
