Is it okay to swallow candida mouth paint, or should I spit it out? I'm worried about whether it's safe to ingest it.

View allI'm struggling with oral ulcers and I've been using Kenacort gel as my dentist advised. How long do you think it'll take for them to heal? I'm feeling really discouraged since it seems like there's no improvement. Can you give me some advice?

My gums have been bleeding off and on but there's no pain while eating. The dentist says I have bone loss and need 3 scaling sessions plus laser flap surgery in 2 sittings soon. They mentioned bone loss like this usually happens with BP or neuro meds but I don't have diabetes or high BP. Does this treatment plan make sense or should I get another opinion? Also I'm moving to the US next month should I wait to get this done there or do it now in Bangalore? I'm 28 and otherwise healthy.
It's wise to get a second opinion on your treatment plan for gum disease, especially since you're otherwise healthy and don't have the typical risk factors mentioned. While laser flap surgery and scaling are common treatments for periodontitis, a second opinion from another dentist or periodontist can help confirm the diagnosis and treatment plan. Deciding whether to have the treatment now in India or wait until you move to the US requires considering your specific situation, including cost, insurance coverage in the US, and the potential for faster recovery in certain climates, according to some sources.

I'm really concerned about bad breath. I brush my teeth every morning, but I've noticed the bad smell comes back after I eat during the day. What's causing this and how can I keep my breath fresh all day? It's getting a bit embarrassing and I'm not sure what else to do. Could it be something I'm eating or maybe I have a dental issue I'm not aware of? Any advice would really help.
To avoid bad breath throughout the day, it is important to maintain good oral hygiene. In addition to brushing your teeth in the morning, make sure to also brush your teeth after meals. You can use a mouthwash containing chlorhexidine or cetylpyridinium chloride to reduce bacteria in the mouth and freshen breath. Additionally, chewing sugar-free gum or mints containing xylitol can help stimulate saliva production and reduce bad breath. Drinking plenty of water throughout the day can also help keep your mouth moist and reduce odor.
