Is it okay to use hot water steam for a cough if I've just had an angioplasty? I'm worried about whether the steam could affect the stent, especially since it's only been a week since the procedure. Would it be safe to try this, or should I avoid it?

Taking hot water steam for cough after Angioplasty is generally safe, as it can help to soothe the throat and loosen mucus. However, it is important to avoid inhaling steam directly through the nose, as this can potentially irritate the nasal passages and sinuses. As for the stent, steam inhalation is unlikely to have any direct effect on the stent itself. Just make sure to keep a safe distance from the hot water to prevent any burns.

report is not normal.. right axis deviation is of serious underlying pathology.AN ECHO is advised and cardiac opinion..probable diagnosis could be right ventricular hypertrophy, rt bundle branch block embolism, lung diseases, hyperkalemia and septal defects...

I'm trying to understand my dad's recent health reports, and I'm a bit worried. He's been dealing with a gastro esophageal ulcer, and he just had an ECO done. The report says he has IAS and IVS intact. Can you explain what this means? I'm really concerned about his condition and would love some clarity on this.

IAS and IVS intact in echo means that those part of the heart are not damaged

I'm really worried because lately Ive been experiencing this weird heart fluttering sensation. Its been happening for the last 15 days whenever Im asleep. I suddenly wake up feeling unconscious, and its like I cant even express what Im going through. For a moment, I seriously feel like Im dying, but then after a few seconds, I feel okay again. It happened again last week and then today during the day when I napped. Its super scary and I dont understand whats going on or why this is happening when Im sleeping. Can you please help me figure out what this might be?

Hii, it sounds like you are experiencing episodes of heart palpitations or fluttering. This can be a concerning symptom and it's important to get evaluated by a healthcare professional. In the meantime, you can try taking a beta-blocker medication like Metoprolol (25-50mg) to help control your heart rate and reduce palpitations. It is important to follow up with a doctor for further evaluation and management of your symptoms.
