Is it safe or possible to lose weight during pregnancy if someone is overweight and has thyroid issues? I am concerned because being overweight may lead to excessive weight gain during pregnancy, which could affect health. Could you please guide me on how to manage weight safely in this situation?

It is not generally recommended to actively try to lose weight during pregnancy, even if you are overweight with thyroid issues. However, it is safe and beneficial to focus on healthy eating and regular light activity to avoid excessive weight gain during pregnancy. Managing thyroid levels with proper medication and regular monitoring is important for a healthy pregnancy. A thyroid profile should be checked to ensure your levels are controlled, and follow your doctors guidance for a balanced, healthy pregnancy.

What should I do? Is it possible to manage or reduce weight during pregnancy with just morning walks?

I have lost 10 kg, but my skin has become loose and started to sag in my cheeks. My eyes are sinking in with dark circles around them. I drink 4 liters of water per day and have started strength training. My thyroid is at 6, and I am currently under medication for it. How can I make up for these nutritional deficiencies? I am a vegetarian. Thank you in advance.
