I've been dealing with acanthosis nigricans for years and I'm really looking for some advice. Are there any Ayurvedic treatments or remedies that might help improve my condition? I'm curious to know if there's something specific in Ayurveda that could make a difference. Would appreciate any insights you might have.

View allI'm a bit worried about my daughter's alopecia treatment. We're seeing Dr. Aruna Kumari in Bangalore, and she's advised us to apply Myolaxin gel once a day to the affected area. I've looked it up online, and it seems Myolaxin is more for pain relief. Is this the right treatment for her alopecia? It just doesn't seem like what I expected, and I'm really concerned. Can you help?
Myolaxin gel is indeed commonly used for pain relief due to its muscle relaxant properties. In the case of alopecia, it is not a standard treatment. I recommend discussing this with Aruna Kumari to clarify the intended purpose of using Myolaxin gel for alopecia. If needed, she may consider prescribing medications specifically tailored for alopecia treatment such as Minoxidil solution to promote hair growth.

I'm using Deriva CMS for my acne issues, and I've heard that it initially causes all the acne to surface before it heals the skin. My doctor suggested mixing it with Cetaphil moisturizer, applying it for an hour before bed, washing it off, and then using Cleargel. Since it's winter and my skin tends to get dry, I'm worried it might cause a dry patch. Do you think I could use Deriva CMS as a spot treatment for just a few hours to avoid this? Would love some advice on this!
- Its best to follow your doctor's advice and mix Deriva with Cetaphil to avoid dryness, especially during winter. Using it directly as a spot treatment could cause irritation or dryness. Stick to the recommended routine for better results and comfort.

I'm really concerned about the pigmentation on my face since I stopped using the No Scar cream. Its really red and Im not sure what to do to make it better. Are there any treatments you would recommend to help with these side effects? Id really appreciate your advice.
To alleviate face pigmentation and redness caused by No Scar cream, apply a topical treatment like Kojic acid, vitamin C serum, or niacinamide cream, and consider consulting a dermatologist for personalized advice, laser therapy, or chemical peels to help reduce hyperpigmentation and promote even skin tone.
