I've been dealing with acne and my face is always oily. I'm currently using Lacne Bar and Acnilite ZN but it seems like the issue is getting out of hand. Could you recommend any medication or other ways to help me control the oil and acne?

I recommend adding a topical retinoid cream like Retino-A to your current regimen for acne. Apply a pea-sized amount on the affected areas at night. For oily skin, you can use Sebamed Clear Face Care Gel to control oil production. Additionally, consider using a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser twice a day. Remember to use a non-comedogenic moisturizer like Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture SPF 15 during the day. Make sure to follow this regimen consistently for best results.

View allI've been using Momate F cream USP on my face for some time and the results have been pretty great. I'm just a bit worried and curious if there are any side effects I should be aware of. Also, if I stop using it, is there a chance the spots will come back?
Momate F cream, containing mometasone and fusidic acid, can have side effects like skin thinning, redness, itching, and increased risk of infections, and if stopped, the underlying skin condition may recur, but the spots themselves may not necessarily "grow back" worse than before, however, it's essential to consult a dermatologist for personalized advice on usage and discontinuation.

I'm a bit concerned about a wound I treated with undiluted Dettol on cotton and left it plastered for about 10 hours. Now there's this black patch around the area. Is this something that will just go away on its own, or should I be worried about any side effects?
-The black patch around the wound could be due to irritation from the undiluted Dettol, which can sometimes cause skin discoloration. It should fade over time, but keep an eye on it. If it doesn't improve or if you notice increasing redness or swelling, c

I've been using Patchex tablets and Mel Bild solution for the past two months to deal with my patches. While Mel Bild seems to work on the existing patches, I've noticed that new ones keep popping up. Is this normal, or should I be worried about something else going on? What should I do next?
It seems like the current treatment is not fully effective in preventing the formation of new patches. I recommend adding a topical corticosteroid like Clobetasol cream to help reduce inflammation and prevent the development of new patches. Apply a thin layer of Clobetasol cream on the affected areas once daily for 4 weeks, then gradually taper off.
