I've been dealing with asthma for a couple of years now, and I've been on telekast, Acebrophylline, and montelukast for about a year. Lately, Ive been experiencing this burning sensation in my chest and sometimes I feel anxious or confused, and I've been having some really vivid bad dreams. I'm starting to think it might be the montelukast causing these issues. Are there other medications I could try for my allergies?

I struggle with breathing every April and October and need to use a Rotahaler in emergencies. I get a tight chest, wheezing, cough, and cold, and this happens with every change of the weather. I really feel like I can't catch my breath sometimes, even though my PFT and spirometry tests came back normal. I dont have any issues with wheezing or coughing, and my IgE test was normal too. What could be causing this feeling of suffocation?
