I've been dealing with a bit of a situation. A week ago, I had a throat infection and was on medication for it, but then I started having stomach upset and loose motions. I decided to stop the medication, and I tried arrowroot powder to help. It seemed to work, but now, for the past three days, I've had stomach pain on both sides. I dont usually have issues with gastric acidity, but the pain gets worse when I walk, go upstairs, or take a deep breath. What should I do about this?

If the pain is severe, constant, or associated with symptoms like vomiting, fever, bloody stools, or significant tenderness, it would be wise to consult with a healthcare provider to rule out any underlying issues, such as an intestinal infection or inflammation.

View allI've been feeling heartburn since yesterday, and it's really bad when I try to sleepduring the day it's there but not as intense. Can you suggest some home remedies that might help?
Hello! It sounds like you are experiencing heartburn that worsens when lying down. For relief, you can try the following home remedies: - Avoiding trigger foods such as spicy, fatty, or acidic foods - Eating smaller, more frequent meals - Avoiding lying down right after eating - Elevating your head while sleeping - Drinking ginger tea or chamomile tea - Taking over-the-counter antacids like Tums or Rolaids as needed - Trying over-the-counter H2 blockers like Pepcid AC or Zantac - Using over-the-counter proton pump inhibitors like Prilosec OTC or Nexium 24HR for persistent symptoms - If symptoms persist, it's important to consult with a healthcare provider for further evaluation and management.

I have a 9mm gallstone and my bilirubin is at 2.3 but the only symptom I notice is slightly yellow eyes. Are there any good treatment options besides surgery? I'd really prefer to avoid going under the knife if possible. What would you recommend?

I'm really concerned about my ALTSGPT level, which is at 91.5. I've been taking liver supplements, eating healthy, drinking lots of water, and exercising regularly, but nothing seems to be working. Can you help me understand why it's still high and what else I might be missing in my approach?
While lifestyle changes like a healthy diet, regular exercise, avoiding alcohol, and staying hydrated can significantly improve liver health and help lower ALT levels, it is essential to identify the underlying cause with the help of your healthcare provider. Following a comprehensive treatment plan that includes the right medications, supplements, and lifestyle adjustments is key to managing liver function.
