I've been dealing with this cough and some phlegm in my throat, but oddly, there's no fever or cold symptoms along with it. It's just the cough thats bugging me, even after one round of antibiotics. I dont cough all the time, but I can definitely feel that there's phlegm there. What's going on here? Should I be concerned or doing something different?

View allI'm trying to understand my mom's X-ray report better. It mentions "Prominent bronchovascular markings in bilateral lower zones" and raises concerns about pneumonitis. They suggested an RTPCR test because of the current pandemic, but her test came back negative. Her oxygen levels are good at 99, and although she had a cough and fever, she's okay now with just a slight cough every now and then. Can you help explain what this all might mean?
report indicates that there was some inflammation or infection in her lungs (possibly pneumonitis), but since her RT-PCR test is negative, it's likely not related to COVID-19. The fact that her symptoms have improved (fever gone, only occasional cough) and her oxygen saturation is normal is a good sign of recovery.

I've been using an asthalin salbutamol inhaler for the past 20 years. I'm wondering if there's any other option available that's similar. Also, how can I monitor or check my asthma attacks better?
If you're looking for alternatives to Asthalin (Salbutamol), your doctor may prescribe other bronchodilators like Levalbuterol or Formoterol, or combination inhalers that include an inhaled corticosteroid. To monitor your asthmatic attacks, consider using a peak flow meter, which measures how quickly you can breathe out air, and track your readings to identify patterns and potential triggers
