Question
I've been dealing with hyperacidity and heartburn for over a year now, even after cutting out tea and cola and sticking to home food. For the last three months, I've had to rely on Pentocid 40 every morning because Zinetac doesn't work as well. While it controls the acidity, I've developed a constant cough that doesn't bring up phlegm and sometimes wheezing. I've also started snoring a lot with my mouth open, leading to dry mouth and waking up at night. I really don't want surgery or an endoscopy is there a natural way to manage this? Also, could daily Pentocid cause side effects, especially since I'm already on Telma 40 for BP? I'm a bit of a hypochondriac but not stressed, and I don't smoke or drink. Just turned 45 could age be a factor?

.try eating several small meals instead of three large ones whenever you can...Avoid foods that irritate your stomach, especially those that are spicy, acidic, fried or fatty... avoid coffee, tea etc... Avoid stress, consider calming activities, such as meditation, yoga etc...sleep with head raised position and have dinner at least 2 hours before sleep..do regular exercises...take pantaprazole 40 mg twice daily before food with above....consult physician if symptoms persists.
