My face seems to be getting darker, even though Im pretty careful about avoiding the sun and staying out of pollution. Im really puzzled because I thought I was taking good care of my skin. Could there be something else going on with it?

You may be experiencing hyperpigmentation. I recommend using a skin lightening cream containing hydroquinone, such as Melalite cream, to help lighten the dark spots on your skin. Apply a thin layer of the cream on the affected areas once daily in the evening. Additionally, using a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher during the day can help prevent further darkening of the skin. Make sure to consult with a dermatologist before starting any new treatment.
