I'm really worried because I'm about to get married on April 24th, and I just found out I might have a sebaceous cyst. The doctor I visited gave me some meds for a few days and said we can see how it goes. But if it doesn't improve, he mentioned maybe needing a scan. I'm noticing this ring-like red spot on my face and it sort of reminds me of ringworm. I've started using Lobate GM cream for it. Is this the right treatment to go for, or should I be doing something different? Im a bit worried about whether I'm using the right stuff for this.

However, Lobate GM is not appropriate for ringworm as it contains a combination of a steroid (betamethasone) and two other ingredients. Instead, you should use an antifungal cream like Terbinafine (brand name Lamisil) or Clotrimazole (brand name Lotrimin). Apply the antifungal cream twice daily on the affected area for at least 2 weeks. If the rash persists or worsens, consult a dermatologist for further evaluation and management.
