I've been dealing with a mucus problem for the past 15 days. It only happens in the morning, and it's quite a heavy flow. The mucus is white. What could be causing this, and should I be concerned?

View allMy 2-year-old son was born with an ear pit in his left ear, and it's gotten infected. We've already gone through a 2-week course of antibiotics and used topical ointments, but there's been no change. What should be our next step?
Consult an ENT specialist or a pediatric surgeon for further evaluation and guidance, as recurrent infections in preauricular pits often require surgical excision to prevent future complications; they may recommend imaging tests like ultrasound or MRI to assess the extent of the pit and surrounding tissue, and discuss surgical options to remove the pit and affected tissue.

It's been about three weeks since I got over Covid, but I'm having this issue where one side of my nose keeps getting partially blocked off and on throughout the day. The side it happens on changes randomly. Plus, there's this slight feeling of mucus in my throat every now and then. Is this something I should be worried about, or is it pretty normal post-recovery?
It's not uncommon to experience lingering symptoms like nasal congestion and throat mucus after recovering from COVID. These can be part of post-viral recovery, but if they persist or worsen, its a good idea to consult a doctor to rule out any other issues.

I have chronic suppurative otitis media and one ear is completely damaged I can't hear at all from it. The other ear has a small hole in the eardrum. The doctor prescribed antibiotics, but I'm worried will this infection go away completely? And is there any chance my damaged ear could recover without surgery?
In case of csom there is a hole in the ear drum which makes the middle ear prone for infection.the only permanent solution is to repair the ear drum If don't want surgery good hygienic measures needed to make ear free of infection.
