I've been dealing with a pretty serious issue and I'm really worried about it. Whenever I look at my penis, it seems to be a bit crooked, like it's slightly bending to one side. I'm hoping for some advice or help on how I might be able to fix this and get it to be straight.

Possible Causes_

  1. Kidney stone: The 7mm stone in your kidney might be causing irritation, leading to frequent urination.
  2. Overhydration: Drinking excessive water can put pressure on your kidneys, leading to frequent urination.
  3. Gastrointestinal issues: Eating more food than usual can put pressure on your digestive system, leading to frequent bowel movements and urination.
  4. Other medical conditions: Certain conditions like diabetes insipidus, overactive bladder, or urinary tract infections (UTIs) might also cause similar symptoms.

Diabetes Symptoms

While your symptoms don't directly point to diabetes, it's essential to be aware of common diabetes symptoms:

  • Increased thirst and hunger
  • Fatigue
  • Blurred vision
  • Slow healing of cuts and wounds
  • Tingling or numbness in hands and feet

Next Steps

  1. Consult your doctor: Discuss your symptoms with your doctor, especially the kidney stone and frequent urination.
  2. Get a urine test: A urine test can help identify any underlying infections or conditions.
  3. Monitor your symptoms: Keep track of your symptoms, including when they occur and any potential triggers.

I'm really confused and worried right now. Yesterday, I had a really bad stomachache and ended up going to the hospital. They gave me an injection for the pain, and after some time, I started feeling better. The doctor took an X-ray and showed me that I have three kidney stones, about 8mm each. He prescribed medicines for 5 days but recommended that I get laser surgery to remove the stones. I'm not sure if I should go through with the surgery. Is it possible to avoid surgery and get rid of the stones with just medication? I'd really appreciate your advice.

Given the size (8mm) and number (3) of kidney stones, laser surgery (lithotripsy) is a common and effective treatment, but it's not the only option; your doctor may consider medical expulsive therapy (MET) using medications like alpha-blockers (e.g., Tamsulosin) to help pass the stones naturally; however, the success of MET depends on the size, location, and number of stones, as well as your overall health, so it's essential to discuss the risks and benefits of both surgery and medical treatment with your doctor to determine the best course of action for your specific situation.

My 4-year-old son has had an enlarged and hard right testicle for a week but no pain or irritation. The doctor suggested a scrotum ultrasound which showed hydrocele. Can it be treated without surgery? We're really worried about him going through surgery at this age. (Note: Kept the tone natural, removed excessive punctuation, avoided formal openings, and maintained the medical terms like hydrocele and scrotum ultrasound while expressing parental concern.)

surgery is the procedure recommended.Hydrocelectomy is advised.

I'm having some trouble with my foreskin. I can pull it back when I'm semi-erect, but not when I'm fully erect. Is this something I should be worried about?

Phimosis is a condition where the foreskin can't be pulled back from the head of the penis.A steroid cream is usually tried first. Surgery is then recommended if the cream doesn't work.
