I've been dealing with really bad dark circles under my eyes ever since I started wearing glasses. I'm really wondering if the glasses might be causing this issue. Could there be a connection between my dark circles and my glasses, and what can I do to get rid of them?

Dark circles under the eyes
- Indirect connection: Wearing glasses can lead to increased eye strain, rubbing, and poor circulation, which may contribute to dark circles.
- Not a direct cause: Glasses themselves do not directly cause dark circles.
Removing Dark Circles
- Eye creams: Use a cream containing caffeine, peptides, or vitamin K to reduce puffiness and discoloration.
- Cold compress: Apply a cold, damp cloth to the area to constrict blood vessels and reduce swelling.
- Elevate your head: Sleep with an extra pillow to reduce fluid accumulation under your eyes.
- Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated and plump.
- Get enough sleep: Aim for 7-8 hours of sleep to help reduce puffiness and dark circles.
- Avoid rubbing your eyes: Gently pat the area instead of rubbing, which can cause further irritation.
Glasses-Related Tips
- Adjust your glasses: Ensure your glasses fit properly and don't put pressure on your nose or eyes.
- Follow the 20-20-20 rule: Every 20 minutes, look away from your screen and focus on something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.
- Blink regularly: Make a conscious effort to blink while wearing glasses to prevent dry eyes.

View allI'm curious if using a ready-made Aloe Vera Gel mixed with Vitamin E is a good idea for lightening the dark patches on my face. I've been advised by a doctor on Practo to use SPF 30 for extra protection, but I'm wondering if this Aloe Vera and Vitamin E mix might be beneficial for my skin concerns. What do you think?
Aloe vera gel and vitamin E can be a good combination to help reduce dark patches on the face. Here's why: 1. Aloe vera gel has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that can help soothe and calm the skin, reducing redness and irritation. 2. Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that can help protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals, which can contribute to dark patches. 3. Vitamin E also has skin-lightening properties, which can help reduce the appearance of dark patches. However, keep in mind: - It's essential to choose a readymade aloe vera gel that is pure and free of harsh chemicals. - Vitamin E can be quite thick, so you may want to mix it with a few drops of a carrier oil like coconut or jojoba oil to make it easier to apply. - Always do a patch test before applying any new skincare mixture to your face to ensure you don't have any sensitivity or allergic reactions. - Consistency is key! Apply the mixture regularly, ideally once or twice a day, and be patient as it may take some time to see results. Remember to consult with a dermatologist if the dark patches persist or worsen. They can provide personalized advice and help you identify the underlying cause of the dark patches. Also, don't forget to use SPF 30 as recommended by your doctor to protect your skin from further damage!

I've been having this really annoying itching problem all over my body that only seems to happen at night. I saw a doctor about it and took the medication they prescribed, but the itching came back. I'm taking cetirizine to try and help with the symptoms, but it's still bothering me a lot. I recently moved to Chennai about 5 months ago. Could this change be affecting me somehow, or is there something else I should consider? Any advice would be appreciated.

I've had these stitch marks on my hand for about three years now, and it's starting to bother me because everyone notices them and asks about it. Is there a way to get rid of them?
Stitch marks can be treated with the help of topical creams containing silicone gel, such as Mederma. You can apply a thin layer of Mederma on the stitch marks twice a day for several months to see improvement. Additionally, you can also consider laser therapy or microdermabrasion treatments to further reduce the appearance of the scar.
