I've been dealing with really dark and pigmented knees, and it's super embarrassing. I've tried using brightening creams and even a bunch of home remedies, but nothing seems to work. Could you recommend any medication or treatment that might help?

Dark and pigmented knees can be a cosmetic concern. Here are some suggestions:
Topical Treatments
- Hydroquinone cream: A common treatment for hyperpigmentation. However, use it under a dermatologist's guidance.
- Kojic acid cream: Helps reduce melanin production and hyperpigmentation.
- Retinoid cream: Derivatives of vitamin A that can help reduce hyperpigmentation.
Home Remedies
- Lemon juice and honey: Mix equal parts lemon juice and honey, apply to knees, and rinse after 20 minutes.
- Cucumber and turmeric: Grate cucumber, mix with turmeric powder, and apply to knees.
- Coconut oil and sugar: Mix coconut oil and sugar, gently scrub knees, and rinse.

View allI've got a mark on my face from some stitches and I'm really hoping it can be removed. Could you please let me know if that's possible and what the options might be? I'm quite concerned about it.
Stitch marks on the face can be challenging to completely remove, but various treatments can help minimize their appearance; consider consulting a dermatologist or plastic surgeon for options like: topical silicone gel or sheeting, steroid injections, laser therapy, microneedling, or chemical peels to help flatten and fade the scars.

Hey, I've been prescribed Dutas 0.5mg and was wondering if I could use Dupecia 0.5mg instead. Are they basically the same thing? I'm concerned about the side effects because they seem quite serious. Is it safe to take, or could I skip it since I'm already applying minoxidil?
