I've been dealing with sinusitis, and after a CT scan about five months ago, it seemed like things were getting better. Most of the symptoms went away once I took antibiotics and used nasal spray. But now I still get this post-nasal drip at night and then in the morning there's mucus in my throat. I don't have a cough or anything like that. Does this mean my sinusitis isn't totally gone? Could this post-nasal drip last forever unless I have surgery? And is surgery necessary if it's not really messing with my daily life?

Your sinusitis seems to be largely healed, but post-nasal drip is a common residual symptom that doesnt necessarily mean the condition is unresolved. It is not lifelong for most people, and surgery is not needed unless the problem is much more severe. You can manage the post-nasal drip with home remedies and over-the-counter treatments, and surgery is not a requirement if your symptoms are not significantly affecting your daily life.

View allI'm waking up with a really weird sensation, like there's something rubbery or mucus-like stuck in my throat or behind my voice box. I've had post-nasal drip before and even saw an ENT specialist about it. I don't have any allergies. I had a CT scan a couple of months ago, and it showed minimal mucosal thickening in my right maxillary sinus. I also used a Netipot for about a week. Now, I'm dealing with some nasal obstruction. Could this obstruction be the reason for the rubbery mucus feeling?

I've been noticing yellow mucus when I sneeze, and it's weird because I don't actually have a cold right now. It's been a while, like three months, dealing with this stuffy nose. I'm a smoker and I've never had issues with my sinuses before. Should I be worried about this? What could be causing it?
yes u can use it, visit ur physician for apprpropriate managent

My right nose is blocked due to nasal congestion and allergies, and the doctor recommended surgery using advanced ENT with a navigator based on my CT scan and endoscopic report. They said skipping surgery could lead to chronic sinus issues. Are there any alternative treatments that could avoid surgery?
Advanced ENT-guided FESS is effective, but if unaffordable, try nasal steroids, sprays, and steam inhalation for relief.
