I've been dealing with some mild pain in my lower abdomen on both sides for the past few weeks, and I'm getting a bit worried. Plus, there's this extra skin forming on the tip of my anus over the last couple of months, and it's slowly getting bigger. On top of that, I've noticed some muscle lumps in other parts of my body for about two years now, although they haven't grown. I'm concerned about what might be going on and would love to get your thoughts.

Fluka 150 (Fluconazole) TDS for 5 Days

Fluconazole is an antifungal medication

Taking Fluka 150 TDS (thrice a day) for 5 days:

  1. Increased dosage: Taking Fluka 150 TDS is a higher dosage than the earlier advised once-a-week regimen.
  2. Short-term use: This regimen is for a short duration (5 days), which is likely intended to aggressively treat a fungal infection.
  3. Monitoring necessary: Your doctor will likely monitor you for potential side effects, such as liver enzyme changes or interactions with other medications.

Important

  1. Adhere to the prescribed regimen: Complete the full 5-day course as directed by your doctor.
  2. Report any concerns or side effects: Inform your doctor if you experience any adverse effects or concerns during or after treatment.

I'm a bit worried because I had an endoscopy biopsy about 32 hours ago, and now the color of the pylo dry has turned pink. Should I be concerned about this change? Does it mean the biopsy might be positive?

I'm worried about my uncle who's now 60. He tends to burp loudly and often complains about pain in his upper stomach. He keeps rubbing that area, and we're wondering if this could just be gas or if it might be something else we haven't considered. What should we be doing to help him out?

Yes, upper stomach pain can be caused by gas, especially if your uncle is experiencing loud burps. However, at the age of 60, other causes of stomach pain should also be considered, such as gastritis, peptic ulcers, or even more serious conditions like gallstones or pancreatitis. To help relieve his symptoms, your uncle can try taking an over-the-counter antacid like Tums or Maalox to help with gas and indigestion. He can also try Simethicone (Gas-X) to help break up gas bubbles in his stomach. It is important for him to avoid foods that can trigger gas, such as beans, broccoli, cabbage, and carbonated drinks. Additionally, eating smaller meals and avoiding lying down right after eating can also help reduce gas and stomach pain. If his symptoms persist or worsen, it is important for him to see a doctor for a proper evaluation and diagnosis.

I have a hiatus hernia and it's causing a lot of acidity problems and mouth ulcers. Is there any medicine that can help or is surgery the only option? It's really uncomfortable and I'm not sure what to do about it.

Hiatus hernia with reflux and ulcers responds to PPIs (like omeprazole),prokinetics, and lifestyle changes.Surgery (e.g., fundoplication) is for severe or persistent symptoms.
